Jill undertakes a range of research, communication and interpretation projects on a consultancy and pro bono basis:
providing translation services for the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) International Secretariat, London,- acting as historic gardens consultant for the forthcoming book Building Old Cambridge, Architecture and Development, by Susan E. Maycock and Charles M. Sullivan,
- producing a detailed historical chronology and statement of significance for Chestnut Hill reservoir, a piece of work that underpinned the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Resource Management Plan for the landscape,
- producing detailed site histories for the Friends of Plant Park in Tampa, Florida, and for the Olmsted-designed grounds of Newton City Hall in Massachusetts (while working for Pressley Associates, Inc.),
- contributing to the Warren H. Manning research project run by the Library of American Landscape History,
- providing original research and photographs for the Dan Kiley compensatory archive at Harvard University’s Francis Loeb Library Special Collections.
